SureHire explains Commission on Certification of Work Adjustment and Vocational Evaluation Specialists

After the Commission on Certification of Work Adjustment and Vocational Evaluation Specialists stopped operating in 2009, some of its responsibilities were taken over by the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CCRC). Currently the CCRC oversees certification for CVEs, CWAs and Certified Career Assessment Associates (CCAAs).

There is currently no new certification of Certified Vocational Evaluators (CVE) through CCRC or any other organization. However, those who were previously certified as CVEs through CCWAVES can maintain their certification status through the CCRC.
